The Reasons Why Low Calorie Diets Don't Work
May 7, 2009
Are you planning to follow the low calorie diets? I suggest you had better think it once again, because many of my clients follow the low calorie diet and after a few weeks they haven't lost much weight. Hmm, why low-calorie diet plans didn't work? If you want to lose weight successfully, you need to keep these two things in mind:
1. Calories are not your enemies. You need the calorie to provide your body with the necessary nutrition and energy. When your body gets enough food, it'll increase your metabolism. Help you in burning fat and automatically result in weight loss!
You only need to avoid the empty calorie foods. Well, empty calorie not means zero calorie. Your metabolism will automatically turn the empty calorie into the fat. The empty calorie are available in junk foods.
You should begin to consume the negative calorie foods. Negative calories means these calories will force your body to burn more calories than what they provide! This results in calorie deficit which will ultimately result in weight loss! You can get it from vegetables and fruits.
2. Avoid the low-calorie foods. Sound strange? Well, when you begin to eat low-calorie foods, your body will not get enough energy, you will feel sick and tired at all times. You don't have enough energy to complete even your regular activities. All these things happen because your metabolic rate is low!
It also not help you in build muscles; instead you will lose muscles. When your body doesn't have enough lean muscles, it will not able to burn fat because your metabolic rate remains at an abnormally low level. Low calorie diets help you in losing muscles not in losing weight. Even you can lose your fat, there is no way you can become fit!
